Flying to Oslo in an hour or so w/my son – his turn to go with me to Oslo (as Amalie’s been with me at least once before). Going to meet my family and attend the communion of my steph-sisters daughter (I’ve never attended one so I’m looking forward to it!)

Leaving you with two cards I’ve made lately in the meanwhile :)

ania186 This was made for the Pencil-Lines sketch #186, where we were sponsored by Theresa Collins :) Check out the post for more awesome inspirations :) I used a frame from the Theresa Collins collection, as well as flowers from Prima and background-paper from 3ndypapir :)

As for the communion – needed a card, so made one outta Prima, Tattered Angels and Hambly :) primakort_cu

Closeups….hm..yeah. primakort_inside The inside – more Prima and Hambly :)

Have a lovely weekend & stuff, and send us good thoughts so we won’t get stuck in Oslo if the ashes decides to float over Norway when we’re about to get home…. :p

Ps. until I’m back, check out these links:

Have a great time - I do love Oslo! I've stayed there a few times now - as a student, at a great campsite on the edge of the city (we were high up, by the sea and could see the ferries across the bay) - also about 5 or 6 years ago, when my husband was working there; he had a hotel room already paid for, so my son and I went and joined him for a week or two in the school holiday. It was such a great holiday and we loved exploring the city! I still have some great photos from that holiday - picnic in the Palace gardens, the museum, riding on trams, visiting the toy shop and the cafes, street entertainers, Akershus Castle, the Fram Museum, a ferry trip to see a friend of my husband from his work - they lived at Rygge - a boat-racing competition in the harbour, with a fairground and stalls one weekend... we had such a great time!
Enjoy your little break and the First Communion too!

"But the bad news," he said "Girl you're a dandelion."
