I posted this little altered group at the Pink Paislee-blog on monday, for the Monochromatic Monday post. Mine’s black/grey, as you can see.
I altered an empty can of honey – as you can see here…
…and filled it with honey-infused tea.
Here’s a close-up of the tag, which was embossed with clear-stamps from the Amber Road-collection, and sprayed with glimmer-mist (just don’t use the heat-gun once again to speed up the drying part of the glimmer-mist, as it sort of messed with the embossing somewhat slightly…:p) and gesso. The brad is from the Queen Bee-collection, while the letters are from hm, the Bayberry Cottage one I believe. Bling from Prima. The can itself was decorated with paper from Amber Road and sealed with glossy medium + decorated with pleated ribbon from Bayberry Cottage. Here’s the matching card, made from both Queen-Bee (a punch-out tag) and Amber Road (hand-cut from the cards-paper) The can was gessoed twice, painted with slightly watered down acrylic paint before being wiped w/soft towel to give the rustic look. The cork-button was stamped (stamp from Amber Road) & decorated with a brad.
Thanks for looking :)
