Gift tags and stuff…

Posted by Ania On Thursday, December 05, 2013 1 lovely comments

It’s been a while, yada yada blah blah.

I’m still around :)

Since last time I’ve made a box outta Maya Road’s lunch boxes, decorated’em with more Maya Road embellishments.

The booklet/card is made outta cardboard – cut’em out, adhere patterned papers & decorate..

I’ve also taken some time to decorate more pressies…

Using scraps (the card/background is a leftover page from a mini album w/chipboard pages)

Mixing Maya Road & Crate Paper stuff.

Be back soon :)

~~ Wrapping even more stuff ~~

Wrapping more stuff, using the perfect stamps from Craft Origine :)

Even getting to use good ol’ Scenic Route papers :)

Life’s sort of slow and fast at the same time. Lots of time spent on work and other work-related stuff, like studying for an upcoming exam and doing exciting and inspiring projects.

So I’ve decided to start a little bit earlier on gifts and stuff. I think. I hope.

In other news, Maya Road is announcing a new card kit type thing. Go check it out :)

Also – check out this song – yeah - I’m late to the party, but I love it now, that’s what count, eh? :)

Don’t you love the nod to Wicked’s Popular? :)

Oy, it’s a layout of me and sister dearest…

With papers from ColorConspiracy and a lovely cluster of some of my favorite Maya Road embellishments…

And my fave way to add quick and cute dimension to chipboards (using liquid pearls)

Love you, sis! :)

~~ Mariann & Stein-Olav ~~

Somebody’s got married yesterday.

I adore weddings. I love being part of them.

Y’know, everything about weddings, from witnessing the very first look….

The first touch.._D3S4188-copy

The chaos right before the ceremony…

The wedding portraits..

The looks…

The (many) kisses…

The warmth and joy coming from family and friends celebrating the holy matrimony together.

And little moments like this, mirroring the quirks and typical feats of the day, like the day being so hot…these are the reasons why I love being part of a couples special day.

Thank you so much, Mariann and Stein-Olav!

~~ Enjoying cards ~~

I enjoy doing cards more and more – I gotta admit that. Although more often than not my cards maybe aren’t that traditional sort of….?’s a card I made a while ago, using ColorConspiracy papers & a piece of Maya Road journaling spot.

Speaking of Maya Road, it’s reveal time over at the Maya Road Company Blog, and with that – prizes and such to win…

Some of my faves so far are these metal thingies:

These wooden hearts:

These lightbulb transparencies..

And these tu tu tulle flowers in new, soft pastel colors:

Love tradeshow & reveal time – I keep pinning my faves here if you’re interested :)

~~ A Prima Chocolate Box ~~

So, it’s been a while since I played along with the Prima BAP, but the July sketch by Marie-Nicolas Alliot was so inspiring so I played happily along :)

Along with a bunch of my Prima scraps and flowers, I also added some of my fave Maya Road pins..

As well as some red paper twine cording (also Maya Road), and this time I also decided to add decorations along the sides…The Ingrid Bolme resin well was colored with ink, also by Ingrid Bolme. Love these, they’re my fave chalk inks atm…

Feels like I’ve been scrapping and creating with graphic papers only lately, so it was fun to go a bit romantic-ish again :)

~~ More Facebook-headers ~~

Posted by Ania On Sunday, July 14, 2013 0 lovely comments

Seems like I left on a mini vacation without posting the rest of my FB-headers! =)

So. January. Taken at the same slope that I used to practice skiing and sledging at my childhood home (a very small/flat slope – perfect for small children :p).

For February I tested four different headers…only used one or maybe two of them though. These is the annual birthday party invitations photos slash look how big you’ve become portraits– Adrian turned twelve.

For March I used this one, an iPhone-photo of the kids and their cousin from one of our small hikes around the home.

This one’s for April – Amalie turned 8…

One for Easter…ania_mai

May…taken at the bdayparty for Amalie…mai2

Also May…taken during an assignment for the paper – doing a feature on bird spotters at Herdla.

For June I started off with the first header above, although I did consider the latter for a while…

Then wrapped up June with this one, also taken at Herdla.

July started with this header of Amalie and Kasper..

And I think I’ll stick to this one from the recent trip to Oslo for the rest of the month…

And for those wondering the exact measurements of the Facebook headers…it’s 851px x 315 px if you want to create premade headers …:)
