Before starting the catchup-post – I’d just like to say thank you for the nice comments to the babypictures of Lykke :) And if anyone would like me to photograph their babies, don’t hesitate to get in touch with me. I love babies and I need practice learning how to shoot them consistently good so I’m cheap for the time being ;) (I also do weddings and stuff by the way ;p) Right. ‘Nuff selfpromoting =)

Looks like “all” the other DT-stuff decided to get posted all at once – that’s just so typical (once I create stuff I hate usually having to wait to share them) – so it seems like all of a sudden I have a lot of projects to share..

box

This is an exploding-box I created for my nephew when he got confirmed. You can find step-by-step-explanations here. The materials used is mostly Father like Son from Fancy Pants Designs, plus a tag from Elle’s Studio inside.

box_cu1  This box only has one layer – I think that’s more than enough for my use. I sewed pockets for money on the sides – this is something Polish Agnieszka usually do, and she totally rocks these boxes!

shadowbox_cu1

Then there’s this shadow-box made from a canvas, made as a tutorial for Crate Paper. Which tbh seemed like a great idea inside my head, and still is I guess – I just wasn’t all that satisfied with the end-result. Prob should have done a few things different, like diff. papers and stuff. Ahwell – live & learn! Plus I’m too lazy to redo elaborate tutorial-stuff! :p The materials used here are papers, stickers and chipboards from the Brook and Paper Doll collections.

monocard1 And then we have these lovely (*wink*) monochromatic cards for Pink Paislee. I do my best to pretend I can be snarky too ;p

monocard1_cu

Gotta say I adore Pink Paislee’s Halloween-line Hocus Pocus. It’s different from the usual Halloween-stuff out there – in a good way, trust me. monocard2

I dunno – I see no harm in these cards – just harmless fun – but I guess – there’s some people I wouldn’t give these cards to because I wouldn’t be too sure how they would react. What do you think? monocard2_open  Oh, and look, the 6x6 pad fits perfectly inside these 6x6 cards (duh). =)

Might as well get done w/the catchup for now, so here’s the rest of the photos from Papirfesten :)

Awesome circlethingie :p DSC_4771

Eli w/weird antennas! (yes, this was a planned shot in case you wondered :P)

DSC_4949 A shot of me and Liz Hicks. Meeting her was really nice, she used to be my contactperson in Tattered Angels (when I was a TA-educator). Tbh I was not sure if she would remember/recall me, so it was a pleasant surprise when she indeed did. She seemed to be a really lovely person, walking around talking to everybody just like that – I sure wish I was as outgoing as her! I tend to only dare go to&speak with people I know in advance! I’m glad she asked for the photo as I was too wussy to ask myself! Haha :) Now I have a picture of me and Liz, yay! :)

DSC_4963 Here she is again, demo’ing for a lot of very, very focused women :)
(And while I realize that being taken pictures of while teaching/demoing is just something you have to accept, I can only dream of looking as gorg as she do when teaching PACS later this year. Sigh. Be gentle with me please :p)

DSC_4954

And lookie *wave Eli & Gry* – we didn’t try the local menu, but we noticed it seemed real cheap – 49NOK for a child? ;p

DSC_4978Gry came all the way from Belgia, so she brought chocolate and um, Rum for us (yeap, blaming Gry for that one alright, let’s ignore who actually requested it mkay? ;p).

DSC_4985bw

I’m not sure why this picture, but eh, yeah, iPhone – me wantsssssss…… DSC_4990bw

Cheers! DSC_4997   And finally, a group-photo of me and my lovely room-mates (whom unfortunately aren’t to be trusted if you’re standing in front of an elevator OR if you leave your camera unattended in the room…COUGH! COUGH!)

Right! Think I’m caught up now – only have to share the stuff I actually managed to create during Papirfesten (no small feat if you know me – I rarely manage to scrap at crops, and always end up with “need-to-finish-at-home”-projects…but not this year – I finished two layouts & two cards, yay!) – just think a few of them will go to various DTs, so not sure when I can share come to think of it :p

Right, gonna wrap this looong post w/urging you all to drop by my dear & talentful friend Ellen’s blog (she’s also my librarian! Well, not really mine, as she belongs to another faculty, but still :p) – she’s celebrating her blogs 4th anniversary with a lovely giveaway – you have three chances to win either of these items!

~~ Lately.. ~~

Ugh. I haven't updated my blog in like four days and that's like, too long :p
But before I keep you updated on wassup (like that's anything interesting...Im doing what most people are doing these days, preparing for Christmas w/the occasional crop thrown in ;p) I wanted to share this Hambly-layout of me and Kine...made this one a while ago but didn't get around to share it. And because it's her birthday today (HAPPYHAPPYBIRTHDAY!) it made me think of this and like, "oh right, I have to share this" :) I have to admit....I've been looking at Kara Haupt & CandiMandis works lately and thinking.....I totally love their styles..... and personaly I love to alternate styles (or well, at least I like to think so ;P) and I think I'm gonna revisit this cool minimalistlaidback style more often. Paper, transparencies, kraftborder-stickers and rubons from Hambly Screenprints, alpha and button (LOVELOVELOVE..sniff..this was my last one...sniff) from American Crafts and flowers from Prima.

Speaking of scrapbooking -- you gotta check out Graphic 45's blog - they have been featuring Bad Girls this weekend and the creations with their papers are amazing!! :D

I love making these little gingerbread-lights. It's kinda a tradition to me.....one which I love to share with the children.... anyways. For the first time in several years however, I made the "walls" too thin...*grumble* And I didn't make backup-walls either, so ohwell - I had to repair the walls on my own.....:p Hm. It has it's charm uh? (just say yes) ;p

And while I was taking photos of the lights Amalie insisted on me taking photos of her and her pressie in the calendar that day (thanks mom!)..
I love how my mother puts time (and money!) into these calendars for the children..every year she sends us 24x2 little presents in little Calendarbags, ready to use - all we have to do is to find the corresponding number on our sewn wall-calendar and put them up. And she does this for all her four grandchildren. Lovesit. Thank you!

Suppe

2 løk som hakkes smått (stekes blank i litt olje før resten has i)
2 fedd hvitløk
2 bokser tomater
2 ss tomatpurre
2 ts sukker

I like crops.
I like getting together with people Im happy to call friends (hey I can call you that eh?? =) ).. fellows who "get" this hobby.
I like to touch other peoples stuff. Scrapping-stuff that is, duh.
I like drooling on the pretty and cool stuff other people make.
Seeing others creations IRL is so so so cool.

Sharing some photos from the last crop - taken by me, Vibeche and her husband. Thank you so much for having me ladies!! & thank you so much to Elis husband getting up at 2am just to drive us home. THANK YOU!)

And because it's Elis birthday today (jubajuba!).
(Don't ask me what she's doing here)

Pretending to be like, innocent or something.
P r e t e n d i n g being the keyword here ;p
(so cute! :) )

Shorties in front :p

No photosession is complete w/o "da Elsie" eh? ;p

I had great ambitions to get a lot of stuff done.
Ended up with a subpar layout, an average layout and uh..that's it :p
Ohwell.

~~ Weee! Lucia and other stuff ~~

Posted by Ania On Wednesday, December 13, 2006 5 lovely comments
Ahh! Those kids! Too darn cute :) It's difficult to take decent pictures from the Lucia celebration (at least for a noob like me) - I wanted to try conserve the atmosphere by not using flash - I dunno how good an idea that was, but here goes nothing :p Probably should have alternated just to see how good either was, but ohwell :p

I had a very nice time yesterday at Hobbykrokens Christmascrop. Even got a Christmaspresent from them with instructions to NOT open it before Christmas! How fun! :D Did three presents, one layout and one almost finished layout. At around 10.30 Simen called and wondered if I could rent a movie or two, and since he's so nice taking care of the kids allowing me to go out I thought why not..besides, I was stuck on my current procject needing some stuff from home to proceed :P So I left a bit early (sorry girls :) ) to hit the videostore before it closed. Got "Fun with Dick and Jane" and "Lady Venegance". Went for the first last night - a soso movie but with ok kicks to Enron and the like. Will watch "Lady Venegance" tonight. Wonder if it's just as peculiar as "Oldboy". I guess. Looking forward to it!

Oh. Check out the Chatterblog! My picture is featured there :) How cool is that?? :D

Ps. Have I mentioned? I LOVE BG Blush!!
Ps2. Crop-layout means QK! Thanks Dinna :p Once again. :p I thought Vixen looked a bit funny, but it's really gorgeous and cool! And once again. Gotta love these "Amalie-you-little-mischievous-imp-but-alright-just-hold-on-I'll-snap-some-pictures-first" layouts :P

:) Digg! Ha en fortsatt fin adventstid! :)
