The Bad Girls January kit hit the road just a few days ago - a really lovely kit which just seem so perfect for January - soothing and elegant and so perfect for the winter-y feeling of January.
Am totally in love with Jeni Bowlins incredibly smooth rubons!!! This is my niece -my oh-all-too-grown-up-niece. Sigh. Love her so much.

My son was looking forward to an evening at school and was so excited...just had to follow him around until he was ready to go ;p

This lovely gang...never manage to get everybody there 100% but we'll keep trying right ;p

Cookiejar! Darn I love making these, so fun turning a plain box/jar into something elegant..love that it's see through so you can see the cookies inside kinda :)

I have a shoutout to Emeline and Oddbjørg - way to rock the gallery this month alongside the Bad Girls!!

Also - this was my last kit with Bad Girls - I made the decision to resign a few weeks ago...it wasn't easy (it never is) but I believe it's just the way life goes at times..I've been with Bad Girls kits since September 2007 and I have truly enjoyed my time there, always done my best month after month and I hope it has shown... :) I've had such great fun and learned so much with the Bad Girls - it's truly been a honor working alongside these gals and to experience...well, the whole experience...the joy of creating stuff from kits, the fun of sharing with others..all those workshops and contests which have been such a blast...but.. by the end I had to realize it simply just took too much time ...time away from the actual scrapping itself, which I truly enjoy and would prefer to focus my scrapping-time at, especially now when I am trying to be more structured with my time and how and maybe especially when I spend it..some priorities have simply just shifted... so yeah, it's sad closing this chaper of my scrappy life and I wish everybody at Bad Girls the very very best...:)

I know I've been a terrible blogger lately (well, to be me), and I haven't gotten around to visit others blogs to wish you a Merry Christmas either, apologizes in advance!

Finally the Bad Girls kits opened their DT gallery for December, and here's my stuff.
LOts and lots of pretty lovely vintagey papers and embellies (Graphic 45!! :D)...those of you who "know" me knows that I'm not really that into vintage and such papers (despite admiring the prettiness at a distance knowing I can't really do that), but to my surprise I'm actually lovin' what I made with this kit!! It's kinda what I love with kits - stuff are so...effortless to put together and it (usually) turns out great!! :D :D

Do check out what the other gals did w/this kit (lovelove what Iris did with the embossed paper below -- check it out - maybe I'll add something similar to my layout too). The full releval of the kit is somewhat postponed, but I think it'll go up soon :)

(The crepe-paper kinda makes a smaller frame around the middle..not easy to see against black tho, but it's pretty irl!!) Amalie loves "Twinkle twinkle little star" although all she sings is "twinkle twinkle little star...." then looks at me to continue the song..right! :P

Bad Girls kits for desember -- masse Graphic 45 og vintage yumminess i dette kitet :) Strengt tatt ikke helt meg, men jeg digger at ting man lager med kits ser ut til å bli bra uansett - fordi kitet er laget for å funke sammen :D

Soooo I was so excited for this weeks Pencil-Lines cause its guest is one of my scrappy heroines - you know, when you start out you're in such awe over scrapbookers who's like, impossibly amazing and stuff?? Cecilie Lundstad is one of them....she was one of the big ones back then and she still is :) So anyways, finally got to meet her back in the fall and well, when she was gonna guest Pencil-Lines I thought it would be like, cool to scrap this picture of us together :p Only, I know I'm not quite sure wheter this layout...well...measures up..kinda. Ohwell. It's okayish. And it's a friend, so I guess I should share this one (it was supposed to be up at PL too but didn't because of a slight misunderstanding. At first I thought that was fine as I wasn't comfortable with the layout, but then again. It's silly, I should share this, esp as it's for a friend. (I am silly at times :p) So. Should be up soon if not already :) ). So. Cecilie - am so happy for you!! And do pay her blog a visit - she's amazing and I am so happy she's back scrapbooking after a bit of a hiatus!! :)

And well, the layout - pulled out this (yes I have to link, I thought the hue was amazingly cool and Im still sad I had to cut in that paper and not use the backside) amazing Prima-paper I really didn't know I had, from 2007 - god I love that paper! Totally loved the hue of the backside, but decided to use the front which fit with the sketch. Ahwell - the downside of double-patterned papers :p Other stuff includes uh Hambly and some glimmer mist :p

OH yeah. It's that time of the year.
And this time it's bigger and badder than ever - with 22 FREE classes throughout and lots of fun and stuff starting Nov 14th all the way to Nov 23rd! Nice eh? :) And - go on and visit the message board now - the supply lists for the first classes have already been posted - and more to come :)

Can you believe how freakin fast time flies?!??
It feels like it was just summer and vacation and all, and now we're in our last month before Dreaded December.......eeeks!!

I've started on the Christmas-pressies (gotta love etsy!), but in such a slow slow slow rate which prob means that despite some pressies being fixed I'll be stressing this Christmas too....

Anyways.
New month means new Bad Girl layouts, and this time we got a beautiful vintage-ish kit. I've gotta add a disclaimer though, cause the kit, despite being so gorgeous and lovely - I daresay isn't "me" - so I don't feel like I've done this kit the justice it so deserves!! There are many scrappers whom I adore and whose "main"style is vintage - and I simply lovelovelove what they do with such papers and colors - so I am a bit sad that I'm not able to do that kind of magic that they do with such kit - I did want to do this kit justice too! So please keep that in mind while looking at my stuff - I did my best hehe :p And do check out the other girls too :D


This one bears some explaination methinks :) You see, we were in Austria last summer visiting some friends from WoW, and they were into live RPG aswell - as in playing out roleplayingstuff in live settings - so very cool. I've read about such camps where you do that - sounds so freakin cool! Anyways. As part of their hobby they had this HUGE arsenal of weapons in soft foam. So realistic-looking and so cool! Everything from HUGE axes to broadswords (Amalie looked cute dragging one around - it was bigger than her lol) and butcherknife (Diablo anyone? LOL) and tiny throwing daggers and lots more. Fun fun! Anyways. Adrian really liked this one :) Adrian and Amalie were the only children there but the grownups had so much fun too - lots of chasing and duels and stuff all evening at this BBQ :)

Papir i Hjertet, the store which I taught at this past weekend, are moving their store (wasn't finished when I arrived, they'll move Dec 1st instead) and I made them a card congratulating with the move and all. "Papir i Hjertet" means something like "Paper in the Heart" - hence the heart instead of H :) Lovelovelove this flocked paper from 7gypsies and the cute card from Melissa Frances cardset, and the butterfly rocks! Lots and lots of Glimmer MIst put to good use here by the way..




Don't ask me where she got that from, but suddenly she started to do the complete "Mwah" pose with hands and pout and sound and all. Hm. Guess it's a girl-thing?? She's also into princesses these days, hm. I kinda prefer her to be the kind of tomboy she's been until now, but ohwell..:p

My favorite layout from this bunch. Went total curl-o-mania on this one, funfun. Lots of subtle Glimmer Mist here, lovesit. And two of my three favorite people in the world is present here. YAY.

The Bad Girls October kit!!! :D

I *lovelovelove* the Basic Grey papers we got in that kit (esp the apple&pears&variousfruit-one....swooon)... I've loved Rose Moka ever since they launced what, last year I think...love their colors....and the papers and patterns really so didn't disapppoint..must.have.more.Rose.Moka!!!... the cute Prima journalingstuff...esp the one you can tear down to strips...looooove that one....the big Heidi Swapp photocorners...I've used my old ones so I was happy to see these....now I only have one left....*holding onto it for my dear life* and the tape is pretty chic!! (I taped it onto thick cardboard on the cherry-layout)

Oh, and I simply love Jack.

Oh and speaking of Bad Girls....Ingvild Bolme was just added to the DT, starting from January! YAY!! So cool to have another Norwegian on the team and she is fabulous!!

On a personal note. I am starting to feel better. Getting into a rythm. That's good eh?
I wanted to join this "document-your-week" thingie that's going on atm, but I missed monday. Or well. I took photos of layouts and stuff on monday if that counts. Ahwell. Maybe I'll do a summary or something on sunday.

• Scrappers Choice. I'll be honest. I didn't think they were all that. Not until they got Vibeke Spigseth aboard. Yeah I'm gonna credit her cause I really think she did and does wonders with them designwise (if she's not alone about that then I apologize ;p) *love* the paperdesign, the paperquality, and *in love* the chipboard and the bling and the epoxy and ribbons and stamps and..well, they're doing the full embelliethinghie and it's all in Norwegian! YAY!!!!! :D
• HAMBLY!!!!! Yeah baby!!!! Someones got a box and ohmygod *BIG GRIN* *smirk*

I know I've been a sucky blogger this week so far and I'm sad about it (cause I really do enjoy blogging). But life's been quite busy lately in between the Warhammer-gaming, various deadlines & scrappy stuff to do and watching Entourage. So. A quick post from me, w/a little Bad Girls Oct-peek as I can't share the scrappy stuff atm.

• Warhammer: Hm. Didn't like it at first, but kinda think it's okay now. Thought my class was dull (Disciple of Khaine) until I found out@level 10 that I could actually dualwield - yay (don't ask me how come I didn't find out about this sooner. I'm growing old maybe). Actually makes me feel like a ranja again (from EQ) which I think is pretty cool :)
  
• LOVE my Oct Bad Girls kit!! Thanks to my awesome postoffice (spot the sarcasm) I didn't know my kit had actually arrived until yesterday, but cracked out two layouts that I really love in three hours! Nice!
  
• Gotta wrap up the BG stuff tonight as I'll be gone for another surgery tomorrow and will be unreliable this weekend for tougher stuff than just watchin Entourage season 3 (ok Jeremy Piven is pure genious, SO PERFECT for this role, love the interaction w/him and his wife/mention of his wife, he so deserved that Emmy, yay), popping pills and sleepin (and feelin sorry for myself as usual).
• I hate my postoffice/the postal system. Two boxes/shipments delayed lately due to missing notifications and a third one almost gone missing but finally on track now. Sniff. But I'm so dependent on them!
  
• Did I say I love my Oct kit??????? :D :D :D
• I've been feeling a bit stuck in the same "style" scrapwise lately. Don't get me wrong cause a lot of the scrappers whom I adore and admire is simply because they're so great when doing their own "signaturestyle", but I get a bit restless when I feel like this. Trying to shake this feeling off me.

I know, I'm such a dork that normally doesn't get to stay up that late :) Plus, I did have a jolly good time - thank you so much gals&dude :) I do want to edit the other photos from that evening, I actually haven't gotten around to take a proper look at them -- with the pc troubles (wanna know something funny?? Now that my pc is fine, Simens pc decided to die on us! yay!) and the gazillion photos from the vaccay and the priority given to the weddingphotos I just haven't found the time to yet...but soon!!! Anyways -- for this layout I drew inspo from one of the girls at the messageboard - Kataroo :D

Marit Larsen is releasing her second album October 13th! Can't wait!
Check out her newest single - "If a Song Could Get Me You" - and check out the cute acoustic versions she did - singing live at a train, outside a greengrocer and at Nydalen :) I love both the studio-version and the train one - theyre both at repeat here atm :)

Her songs makes me happy - although if you listen beyond the happy, catchy tunes most of her lyrics are actually sad...which makes me love them even more :p
