So. I’m a firm believer that the kids need to earn their own money. By doing chores. Ok, I might not be that strict like, every day, but when there’s stuff that needs to be done & we could use some extra hands then yes. Oh, add an upcoming vacation to the mix and voila – want some pocket money? Earn it yourself! (and when they’re like, 14 or so? Am totally gonna make them get an extra job/summer job if they want to have some extra cash between their hands!)
Nevertheless…we added cobblestone to the backyard/garage…unfortunately I don’t have any photos of the beginning cause…I was like…busy working :p The truck wasn’t able to go all the way to our house w/the cobblestone, which meant we had to carry 4-5 bricks at a time back and forth…
Nevertheless..in these pictures we’re almost done for now…if you can’t tell by the way little miss perky is behaving…(she also changed her dirty working clothes so she could pose for the pictures :p)
She loves show and tell :p
…and to pose…(is it just me or are these pictures pretty peachy in color? Hmmmm..)
This dude has gotten a hair cut since this picture by the way.
Yep..definitely loves to pose for the camera this one..and she loved to help out by the way – eagerly counting her money for every brick she carried…they got 1 NOK per brick….she managed to earn 200 (the last few bricks magically doubled and tripled in value so that she could hit the magical number 200…which her brother had broken a while ago :p)
Whee..cobblestone!
Great photos! Makes me smile!
